Over the passed 40 years, I worked for a HUD Certified 8 MomCounseling Agency in Cleveland, Ohio. I've held several positions starting with Counselor/Case Manager; Site Manager; Asst. to the Director of Services and Mid Level
Management. I prepared statistical reports, wrote proposals and conducted
special projects for the County, City, State, Federal Government which are
all Funders. In 2008 I was Certified by the Ohio Supreme Court as a Court
Mediator to advocate with lenders, Investors and the City of Cleveland and
Urban Municipalities to address housing problems or needs including Default
Mortgages/Foreclosure Prevention; United Way 211 programs and other
special projects for the Dept. of Housing & Urban Development. I conducted individual and group workshops on Stabilizing Home Management; Financial Literacy classes; Home Buyer Seminars; HECM
Reverse Mortgage Counseling.
The Highlight of my Career was on January 4, 2012, when President Obama visited Cleveland and made a personal visit with my Senior Couple, William & Endia Eason at their home (Holborn Avenue) along with our Attorney General Richard Cordray, staff from ESOP all TV Medias Channels 3, 5, 8, 19 and 43 as well as heavy security FBI, Policeman, Fireman, Boom Squad, City Officials, Street/Sanitation Workers.

I had the opportunity to spend a week with the President's personal staff
prior to his Visit to the City of Cleveland and Democratic Party event at Shaker Heights High School. President Obama thanked me and others
for saving the couple from Predatory lending, Repair Scams, Foreclosure
and I Obtained A Reverse Mortgage Loan to settle a $110,000 debt for
$40,000 plus completed all the Home Repairs they had paid for but never
were completed.
Mr. Eason quotted The Gettysbury Address. There wasn't a dye eye in the home after he finish. Mr Eason had been in the Nursing Home for 3 1/2 years at that point. This was his first visit home. He told the President that I was their everything Counselor, friend, Mediator, like a daughter and sometimes a mother, we laughed at the the last one since
they were 92 and 81 years old.

We received the Presidential Coins and some Photos which were taken by Pres. Obama's private Photographer. President Obama's visit was two
fold. He wnt to make Residents of Cuyahoga County the City of Cleveland
and State of Ohio as well as all other States aware that there is free help
laws federal, city and state to protect homeowners and renters against
scams, fraud and predatory lending. Mrs. Eason was invited to accompany the President and staff to Shaker High School as his guest.

Mrs. Eason surprised the President, his staff and the entire security force
with her famous Pies, Sweet Potatoes and Peach Cobblers. They were all made fresh the night before. All hand stirred by her and their were delicious. The President's Staff assured him that it was Already checked out and personally verified by them each over lunch every day the week before he arrived. There is a tremendous amount of Security preparation.

Since that time I took care of the Easons. Mr. Eason passed away April 22, 2014 and Mrs. Eason stayed with me the last year of her life and peacefully passed away on May 21, 2015 in my home. Amen and thank
God for allowing me to be a servant. Yes we are our brothers keeper!!! 8th

Urban Homestead program Develop House Keeping Manual for CMHA Section 8 and Public Housng. Assisted in training Newly funded HUD AGENCIES, wrote proposals for funding and the Lady 8 years if my tenure I participated in training provided by the Ohio Supreme Court and was certified to do Court Mediation save residents from foreclosure predatory lending and Scams. As of December 19, 2014, I am Retired but I still Consult and Help people help Themselves. Also, I am the Music Ministry Leader at Gethsemane Baptist church, and I teach one a month
for the Cleveland Sub-District Baptist Women Mission
